APRIL 20, 2022 – Kay will be giving an in-person (and zoom!) talk about The Sons of Fez at the Windham Public Library on April 20, 2022 at 6pm. Eric LaPerna, a well-known Maine musician, will perform on oud…and the library will be serving Moroccan Mint Tea from Dobra Tea. Kay is happy to give book talks and meet with book groups, live or on zoom. Her presentations are engaging and aim to paint the colorful Middle Eastern cultural context of her books.

Until the Pandemic hit in  early 2020, Kay Hardy Campbell gave several talks about Saudi women as well as A CARAVAN OF BRIDES. She spoke at libraries in Maine and met with book groups about her novel. She was asked to present a talk as part of the “Chats with Champions” speaker series at Skidompha Library in Damariscotta, Maine. She also spoke on Saudi women at Highland Green in Topsham, Maine, and recently gave her first Rotary Club talk. In October 2019, the Berwick Public Library hosted her for a book talk.
